Chapter 6

A black Mustang shoots around the corner of the mountain road. The driver shift down as he takes a blind curve. His passenger a girl throws her hands into the air and shouts.

'TJ go faster.'

'Qiyanna hold on tight.'

TJ shifts up and slams the throttle and the Mustang roars down a straight stretch coming up to a set of corners.

TJ down shifts as he takes a sharp corner and comes up behind a silver Ferrari. He tries to take the 'stang past the Ferrari but the driver of the Ferrari seems to want a little fun. The Ferrari slides between both sides of the road preventing the Mustang from overtaking.

TJ senses a race and grin. Qiyanna sees the grin on his face and shakes her head. She's seen the look before.

TJ slips the Mustang behind the Ferrari. He lets the Mustang catch up with the Ferrari. He suddenly swings the Mustang to the right. The Ferrari driver sees this and swings the Ferrari to the right to block the Mustang. But as he does that TJ swings the car left down shifts and slams the pedal to the floor and the Mustang shoots forward. The muscle car tears up the road in front of it. He slides the car in front of the Ferrari.

The Ferrari driver now clearly agitated with TJ tries to shoot past again but TJ toys with him. After a bit of tailing TJ lets the Ferrari slip by. He then starts a fresh round of tailing the Ferrari. TJ moves to the right again this time the Ferrari driver moves only partially letting TJ draw up alongside him as they come to a corner. TJ takes the corner on the outside and before he realizes it he's heading for a collision with a u-haul truck.

TJ has no other option but swing the car towards the cliff edge. The Mustang hits the skirt of the road. TJ slams the breaks but he feels the huge muscle car understeer. He fights hard to get the car back under control but he feels the back of the car slide out far too much. Before he knows it the back of the car has gone over the cliff and the car has started to fall backwards. The car flips on its side and starts flipping down the side of the cliff.

The driver of the Ferrari skids it to a stop. He pulls out his mobile and dials 911 as he jumps out of the car and runs to the edge of the cliff where the Mustang went off. As he reaches the edge of the cliff he stares in absolute amazement and shock as he sees the mustang explode. The car is flung into the air.

The driver runs back to his Ferrari screaming into the phone now. He turns around and sees that the u-haul had also stopped but now that the Mustang had exploded it starts moving. So he switches his Ferrari on and flees the scene.
